I quick bit about me

I have always had a love for video production. When I was little me and my brother would take my grandpa's video camera and run around his back yard creating funny little short videos of all types and story lines. In high school I was known as the kid who did video (I don't think anyone even knew my name haha) My Senior year of high school came and I got the opportunity to work for a television station for a year. This opportunity fueled my craving to do production my life career.

During college I took as many classes as I could that had to do with cinematography and photography. I even took out a student loan and bought myself a camera so I could start doing wedding videos and other commercial stuff that I would run into. During this same time I started working as a piano mover for a piano store at the time was called The Piano Gallery but then soon after changed its name to The Piano Guys. I worked there and on the side would create commercial like videos for the store for the website. Time passed and to make a long story short me and Paul Anderson (The owner of The Piano Guys) started creating music videos for marketing porpoises. One thing let to another and we evolved from a piano store to a full time YouTube channel after joining forces with Jon Schmidt, Steven Sharp Nelson and Al van der Beek as the five Piano Guys. Now we create videos that we love for the world to enjoy.

  2. Dear Tel,
Are your "marketing porpoises" ever threatened by "killer wails?" Just wondering.
But on another note, I do appreciate that you are beginning to share some of what you are learning in the wild new world of digital cinematography. There are so many ways we can help each other make better, more creative projects on smaller budgets, and I certainly love to watch the Piano Guy videos just to see what new and wonderfully creative ideas you guys have been able to pull off. I have not seen any "making of" videos yet. Are these something you are thinking about? They would probably be both very stimulating and very funny to watch, as I imagine you guys have fun as well as produce great work!
Thanks so much and keep those porpoises well-fed!

    1. I have been creating behind the scenes video however a lot of our past projects we lack decent behind the scenes footage so we are very limited. But I am figuring out ways we can go forward with behind the scenes. Thank you for your comments.
